I am a data scientist, epidemiologist, and health economist in training, dedicated to using research to inform public health policy, advance health equity, and support evidence-based decision-making. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Public Health (Health Economics) at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and bring over seven years of experience spanning research, data analytics, and public health practice.
My current portfolio of work addresses several urgent global health priorities, including the evaluation of behavioural interventions to improve sexually transmitted infection testing among men who have sex with men in China; the development of national risk communication strategies for mpox; community-wide tuberculosis screening initiatives in high-incidence settings; and international studies on anaphylaxis treatment access and emergency care readiness.
I have contributed to multi-country collaborations with researchers from Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Finland, Sweden, Italy, China, Japan, and Australia. My research draws on interdisciplinary methods from epidemiology, health systems research, and implementation science, with an emphasis on equity and real-world impact.
At the core of my work is a commitment to ensuring that research does not remain siloed within academic settings. I strive to make evidence both accessible and actionable for those involved in healthcare delivery and policy development. I am especially focused on ensuring that the evidence generated through our research reaches the populations it is intended to serve–those who need it most–so it can inform measurable, equitable, and sustainable improvements in health outcomes. Ultimately, my goal is to contribute to narrowing the divide between academic research and its practical application in real-world public health and policy contexts.
